Seeking Applications for Company Stage Manager

Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre is seeking a qualified Company Stage Manager for our 2013/2014 season. We produce 3 musicals at the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton, CA. Shows run for 3 consecutive weekends in November, 2013; Jan/Feb and May, 2014. Each production has 4 weeks of rehearsals (including the final tech week).

Experience working with AEA actors preferred. Salary: $3K – $3.6K depending on experience.

Stipend depends on experience and complexity of each production but ranges from $2.5K to $3.5K for design and build. Separate budget for set materials in addition to the stipend.

Auditions for She Loves Me

PageLines- shelovesmeyellow.gifPCRT is seeking talented singer/dancer/actors for all roles in She Loves Me, an award-winning broadway musical. Set in Hungary in the 1930s, She Loves Me tells the story of Georg and Amalia, bickering coworkers, who meet unwittingly through a lonely hearts column and fall in love. Originally produced on Broadway in 1963, the show was remade in 1998 as the Nora Ephron film, “You’ve Got Mail.” 

This production will use both professional and non-professional actors and offers two 4-week, AEA guest-artist contracts. The Director/Choreographer is Lois Grandi and the Musical Director is Pat Parr.

Rehearsals: March 12 – April 11, 2013 @ Pleasanton Cultural Arts Center

Performances: Fri/Sat/Sun April 12-28 2013 @ Firehouse Performing Arts Center
